The vibrant, silky, rust-tinted lines that collide in a mini-splash made of copper and red, as I tilt the paper just the right amount, so the lines don’t spill out of the edges.. OOPS- and then they do.

This artwork reminds me a lot of myself; bold, creative, expressive - and right before that BIG jump; I’m afraid what would actually happen if I touch what’s on the other side of the edge.

The unknown, but very tempting desire to just go for something, even though it logically makes no sense - especially not to those around us.

Sometimes sharing my deepest truth with someone, would make me question myself from jumping over the edge, into a new way of living that I dreamt of.

Still, I can silently, intuitively, yet powerfully hear my soul whisper ; “Just. Do. It.”

And so, I do it.
