Rooted in the legacy of her grandfather Ib Geertsen, a renowned Danish painter, her creative journey began in childhood but bloomed with bold intensity during a transformative chapter of her life. In 2025, after moving to Miami, painting returned to her life not as a hobby—but as a calling. With an instinctive, fluid process that flows in bursts of passion and purpose, her art transcends technique, becoming a portal for deep self-discovery, sensuality, and healing. Hello my love, I'm Amalie, aka $OUL. — a Denmark-born artist now based in Miami, blending childhood wonder with spiritual transformation.
I grew up surrounded by paint and brushes, deeply inspired by my grandfather, a renowned Danish painter whose legacy still pulses in my creative DNA. Drawing was always my first language — silly sketches, abstract shapes, things that didn’t have to make sense but felt right.
Everything shifted in the beginning of 2024, when I experienced a powerful Kundalini awakening.
Since then, my art has become a spiritual channel — deeply intuitive, driven by chakras, energy, and the unspoken magic of color. I follow where the colors lead me: deep reds, sunset tones, copper glimmers, glittering surfaces, and shiny, otherworldly hues.
My pieces are often defined by colorful strokes, contrasted with flowy, abstract elements that move like emotions — free, wild, and meditative.

This is just the beginning, but it already feels like lifetimes of art are unfolding through me.
